Benjamin Kwan
MBBS MMed FRACP

Dr Benjamin Kwan is committed to providing evidence-based and individualised care for his patients. He graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2011 and completed advanced training in Endocrinology at Nepean and Concord Hospitals. Dr Kwan has a VMO appointment at Canterbury Hospital and an academic appointment with the University of Sydney.

Dr Kwan has a special interest in type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, and calcium and bone disorders. He regularly attends national and international meetings to ensure his management aligns with current best practice, and is a member of the Australian Diabetes Society and the Endocrine Society of Australia.

Eastwood Specialist Centre is co-located with United Cardiology. The rooms are located 2 minutes walking distance from nearby Eastwood Station. Free parking is available in the Glen Street Car Park.

South West Specialist Medical Centre

The rooms are located on level 1 inside the Douglass Hanly Moir Collection Centre. Cabramatta Station and John Street are within easy walking distance. Paid parking is available in Dutton Lane Car Park.

Eastwood Practice

Cabramatta Practice

Appointments available on Tuesday morning and afternoon. Please call to make an appointment.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your Medicare card, doctor’s referral letter, and your current medications with you to your first appointment. If you have any recent blood tests, imaging results, or a glucose meter, please bring these along also.

Consultation fees and Medicare rebate

We are a privately billing specialist practice. Consultation fees will be outlined at the time of booking. A valid referral letter and Medicare card is required to be eligible for a Medicare rebate. We use electronic claiming (Medicare Easyclaim) and can submit claims on your behalf on the same day.

Cancellation policy

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your appointment. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to allow time to reallocate your appointment to others. If you cancel within 48 hours, or do not attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee.
